Chris and Liz Ceremony and Reception
Let me tell you, it has been a CRAZY past few months! I’ve been blessed to have so much going on at MariaNicole Photography! I am hoping to get in a decent amount of blogging before the new year strikes. I am so privileged to be allowed to capture all these gorgeous images, not only a photographer, but a wedding photographer!
Chris and Liz had a BEAUTIFUL wedding ceremony with all the classic touches from wine glasses clinking to the sound of family and friends singing. The ceremony took place at the Westin Hotel in Wheeling,IL. The ceremony room was filled with such a palpable amount love and joy for them! I love that I was able to be their wedding photographer and witness the joyous coming together of two families!
The wedding reception was also at the Westin Hotel in Wheeling, IL and was so magical! The colors complimented each other with the ease of a professional touch and the room was decorated immaculately! It was wonderful to see the personal elements the couple added to their winery themed wedding! From the guest “signing of the barrel” to the multitude of corkscrews deliberately placed all over to the gorgeous seating chart which went by wine categories, there were no gaps in the theme!
I love seeing the connection couples have on their wedding day and the unique ways they incorporate all of the little touches that make the wedding a true definition of who they are. When Chris and Liz cut their cake, the images truly capture how important it was for each of them to savor the moment. And I simply have to mention, The Baking Institute in Northbrook, IL did an amazing job on the masterpiece that was their cake!! It seemed as though Chris and Liz forgot about all the people watching them and focused on each other. Much like every marrying couple should! As the two of them joined to make a loving unit, I adored seeing the two of them so wrapped up in eachother it seemed to make everyone and everything else fade into the background! This day was absolutely about them! And of course all their close friends and family, but at the end of the day, it was THEIR day!
I may have teared up at all the slow dances, but thankfully I was rescued from my happy tears when we got down on the dance floor! It is always so touching to see not only the first dance but the parent dances as well. As a wedding photographer, I get to have some fun as well when the couple lets lose! Mike from Memory Makers was a spectacular DJ and had everyone dancing the night away! Here is a glimpse into the rest of their day!
Hope you love it!
